The popular walking-tour respectively alp festival always attracts numerous visitors – guests and locals, kids and adults – to come to Welschnofen/Karersee at the foot of the famous Mt. Rosengarten.
The King Laurin hike leads from alpine hut to alpine hut. Around Mt. Rosengarten the so-called alp weeks have a very long tradition, and they remind of the get-together of countrymen and shepherds after work.
Festival programme of the King Laurin hike
The alpine refuges are reachable with a pleasant hiking tour – clockwise or counterclockwise. The single huts offer a varied festival programme with music, games and entertainment. Of course, there are served also delicious dishes of the regional cuisine.
King Laurin’s legendary Rosengarten, gentle mountain pastures, a wonderful panoramic view and rustic alp huts combined with fun and pleasure for the whole family… Enjoy the King Laurin hike!
