Grâce à ses températures douces et à sa faible altitude, la cuvette de Bolzano est une région propice à la culture du vin et des pommes. Nous vous recommandons vivement le château de Runkelstein avec ses fresques médiévales, le Messner Mountain Museum au château de Sigmundskron, le lac de Kaltern et le musée du vin à Kaltern, ou encore le célèbre domaine viticole Manincor. Les Stoanernen Mandln, lieux légendaires du Sarentino, valent également le détour.
Il y a également beaucoup à voir sur le Renon. Les wagons historiques du seul chemin de fer à voie étroite du Tyrol du Sud ne font pas seulement le bonheur des passionnés de trains.
