The South Tyrol Festival has become the Festival Dolomites: With a new name, the event no longer focusses exclusively on classical music, but offers an exciting variety of concerts with artists from all over the world.
The famous Austrian composer Gustav Mahler spent the summers of the last years of his life in Toblach in South Tyrol, and wrote here some of his most famous pieces. The village in Hochpustertal with its imposing Dolomite panorama and inspiring atmosphere is the ideal location for a music festival.
The Festival Dolomites in Toblach delights with a colourful programme at the end of the summer: In addition to classical music at the highest level – with works by Gustav Mahler, of course – it also offers concerts of folk music, for example.
