If you are looking for a fantastic holiday destination in the Dolomites, Alta Badia is definitely the place for you! Our Hotel Alpenrose***S is located in the pretty alpine village Wengen, where not only a magnificent panorama surrounds you, but also the typical warm Ladin hospitality.

Fulfilling your holiday wishes is our highest priority, so you will feel completely at home. We – the hosts Otmar, Monica, David and Matthias – have chosen the profession of hotelier out of passion, and we will always welcome our guests with enthusiasm.

Our hotel offers a wellness area, sun terraces, a dining room with a view of the Dolomites, a large garden with playground and much more. The rooms are furnished in natural wood and rustic style, and they are characterized by their enchanting alpine atmosphere. They can each accommodate two or more guests and are equipped with TV, desk, bathroom, partly sofa and balcony or sunny terrace.

Our wellness area is open daily from 4 to 7 pm for all guests seeking peace and quiet. There you will find a Finnish sauna, a steam bath and a stone pine steam bath, a whirlpool with spring water, Kneipp treatments and massage showers. After a pleasant sauna session, you can relax with delicious teas and the scent of mountain herbs.

Culinary delights also have a long tradition at the Hotel Alpenrose. Chef Otmar serves Ladin specialities made from fresh, high-quality products – for breakfast as well as for dinner. Biological meat, vegetables whole milk, mountain herbs, mushrooms and forest fruits are just some ingredients of our cuisine. We will spoil you with a gourmet dinner with typical specialities every Sunday and with a "Cena Ladina" with buffet of Ladin and South Tyrolean dishes once a week. On request, we also prepare vegetarian dishes or specials for allergy sufferers.

Those who enjoy sports and the great outdoors are guaranteed to get their money’s worth in Alta Badia. Whether winter sports, hikes or bike tours – here you will always find something to suit your taste and requirements. We also offer a comfortable e-bike rental and, thanks to the support of experienced guides, many useful tips for exploring the mountains. In winter, the almost endless slopes of the skiing areas Kronplatz and Alta Badia and the famous Sellaronda are waiting for you.
