Il se trouve à environ 1 600 m d'altitude et un parcours de 9 trous comporte environ 200 mètres de dénivelé. En plus de l'endurance, les parcours souvent étroits et inclinés exigent de l'habileté technique et de la précision. En contrepartie, les golfeurs sont récompensés par des vues incomparables sur les Dolomites, patrimoine naturel mondial de l'UNESCO. Les vacanciers peuvent également profiter du panorama montagneux en se détendant sur la terrasse du clubhouse et en se régalant de spécialités culinaires.
Pour s'entraîner, il y a un driving range, un putting green, un chipping green et un bunker d'entraînement. Le club de golf de Freudenstein propose des possibilités d'entraînement innovantes (p. ex. simulateur de golf en salle, Track Man, simulateur de putter, outil de visée laser) et une école de golf professionnelle.
