At the valley station of the Schwemmalm cable car in Ulten, visitors can enjoy a wide variety of krapfen specialities from 11:30 am.
In fact, there is a great variety of krapfen in South Tyrol: many valleys have krapfen that are typical for them and that have been passed down between generations over the decades. So depending on the region, South Tyrol has krapfen made with poppy seeds, jam, chestnuts or other local ingredients.
On the day of the South Tyrolean krapfen festival in Ulten, farmers' wives from all over South Tyrol prepare delicious krapfen and offer them for sale. You can taste the varieties on offer and find your favourite type of krapfen!
