This year, for the 11th time, in Niederdorf there will be held the Potato Festival & the Potato Weeks. In September, the entire village is dedicated to the tasty tuber.
Between 20th and 29th September 2024, you should not be surprised if many restaurants in Niederdorf, offer an above-average number of potato menus. During the Potato Weeks, many of them are dedicated to traditional food. So they serve potato dishes in many variations, combined with local products.
The participating restaurants are:
- Adler Stube
- Restaurant Samyr
- Putzalm
In addition, the popular Potato Festival will take place again this year – on 28th and 29th September 2024. The programme includes traditional music, typical Tyrolean dishes based on the potato, special surprises for children and a farmers' market.
If you think you already know the potato, we recommend you to join the Potato Weeks in Niederdorf in Hochpustertal and experience the spud in many new ways.
