The family-run Hotel Gisserhof is located in St. Johann, an idyllic village in the heart of the Tauferer Ahrntal holiday region, and is nestled in a dreamlike natural setting. We have furnished our hotel for you with great attention to detail: with comfortable rooms and a beautiful wellness area with bio sauna, infrared sauna, Finnish sauna, whirlpool and indoor swimming pool with children's pool. Our well-kept garden with children's playground and sunbathing lawn also offers plenty of space for guests of all ages. There are also plenty of free car parking spaces available.

In our Hotel Gisserhof you can expect a warm, cosy atmosphere and a variety of culinary delights. Our breakfast buffet offers homemade jams, sweet and savoury spreads, herb butter, cakes, herbal teas and many other homemade delicacies. Our chef will serve you a tasty and healthy dinner with fresh and selected products. He also uses wild herbs he has collected himself. However, half board is not offered on Sundays during the summer.

The imposing mountain landscape of the Ahrntal valley invites you to enjoy outdoor activities at any time of year: Hiking, biking and climbing are particularly popular in summer, as the surrounding area is a paradise for mountain lovers with around 80 three-thousand metre peaks. In winter, the nearby Klausberg and Speikboden ski areas invite you to go skiing. Cross-country skiers, tobogganists and other winter fans are also sure to find what they are looking for.
